I went into the store and I saw me a box 
I was so impressed that I invested in the stock
Toast'Em pop tarts delightfully wholesome (pastry snacks pastry snacks) 
Each flakey morsel has a flavor-sealed pack 

I stared at the Toast'Em boy as long as I could (long as I could, long as I could)
Somehow I wished I looked that good (looked that good, looked that good)
I saw the Toast'Em boy looking at me 
He said "I could be you, and you could be me!"

I saw the Toast'Em Boy reaching out his hand 
He called me into the Toast'Em land 
I saw the Toast'Em Boy reaching for me

I saw my mother coming back from the store (back from the store, back from the store)
She saw the Toast'Em Boy who was going out the door (out the door, out the door) 
He said "If you're looking for your son, he's on the countertop"
And then she saw my face on the Toast'Em box
