She's Got the Knife Again

SHE'S GOT THE KNIFE, AGAIN
words and music by Kevin Stevenson
Based on a true story by David Bufano
lead vocal: Kevin / disco-istic oo's : Bernie / schoolmaster: Eric

Reading by the fire
nothing on his mind
Turning page by page
Who knows what's coming next?

She hasn't said a word
Not even one complaint
She's starting to explode
But he doesn't know it yet

Why can't it be so nice like television life
There is much to be said about Bobby Brady and Millicent

You're sleeping; you're right beside her
And you think it's been a very peaceful night
But the girl who's lying right beside you
Is going to swing the knife

She's got the knife again!

He wakes up in the night to find there's no one there sleeping by his side
So he takes a walk downstairs

He sees a shadow move past the windows' light
He reaches for the switch and sees she's got the knife

She's walking towards him now: eyes like burning flame
He grabs her by the arm and she runs clean out of sight

She's locked herself inside her cell of tiled walls
And we all know very well...
Soon, those walls will turn to rubber

She's got the knife again!

"I know it's hard, but won't you please come out?!?"
And that's just what she did...
...but she brought the knife

  P

She's got the knife again!

When the girl is bitchin', you best look out for the knife.
